Team trip to Kraków – architecture, exchange and a shared weekend
In 2023 TE-MI Bau organised a joint long weekend in Kraków with around 50 employees and long-standing business partners. Architecture tours, professional exchange and team spirit.
As part of TE-MI Bau GmbH’s company culture, a joint long weekend was organised in Kraków in 2023, in which around 50 employees and long-standing business partners took part.
During the three days in Kraków, the team had the opportunity to get to know one of the most significant historic cities in Central Europe in terms of architecture, alongside joint activities. Together with architects, engineers and site management colleagues, various historic buildings were visited and discussions were held on the development of architecture and on differences between historic and modern construction methods.
Kraków is considered one of the best-preserved historic cities in Europe. Particularly impressive is the Rynek Główny, the largest medieval market square in Europe, surrounded by numerous important historic buildings.

Another architectural highlight was the visit to Wawel Castle, one of the most significant historic complexes in Poland. The complex combines several architectural styles – from Gothic through Renaissance to Baroque – and impressively illustrates the development of European architecture over several centuries.
The famous St Mary’s Church (Kościół Mariacki) on the main square was also visited. It is one of the best-known Gothic buildings in Poland and is particularly famous for its impressive high altar by Veit Stoß.
The tours gave rise to numerous conversations about historic structures, materials used and the development of modern construction processes and technologies.
In addition to the architectural impressions, the weekend also provided space for personal exchange and joint activities outside the working day. Especially in a project-oriented industry like construction, good collaboration within the team is a decisive factor for successful projects.
“Successful construction projects are based not only on technical competence and organisation, but also on a strong team, mutual trust and shared experiences.”

Such joint trips have already become something of a tradition at TE-MI Bau. In recent years, similar weekends have been organised in Prague and Athens, among other places, with employees from various areas of the company – including site managers, engineers, architects and project managers.
The experiences from Kraków, Prague and Athens underline once again the values on which day-to-day collaboration at TE-MI Bau is based – team spirit, professional exchange and long-term cooperation between employees and partners.
